Quality Inspector

*Job Summary*

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting manufactured products and processes to ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform *incoming, in-process, and final inspections* of materials, components, and finished products
* Inspect products using *visual inspection techniques and precision measuring tools* (calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, etc.)
* Verify products meet *engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards*
* Identify, document, and report *non-conforming materials*
* Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate *quality records and documentation*
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues
* Support *root cause analysis* and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
* Ensure compliance with *ISO, AS9100, FDA, or customer-specific quality systems* as applicable
* Follow safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work area
* Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives as needed

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
* *1–3+ years of quality inspection experience* in a manufacturing environment (medical device, aerospace, electronics, automotive, or industrial preferred)
* Ability to read and interpret *blueprints, schematics, and work instructions*
* Knowledge of *GD&T* is a plus
* Familiarity with *quality tools and inspection equipment*
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, quality systems software)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
