Responsibilities Provide speech‑language therapy to patients in a variety of settings including long‑term acute care, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient services. Assess, diagnose, and treat disorders of communication and swallowing, including CVA, dysarthria, dysphagia, TBI, and degenerative diseases. Develop and implement treatment plans, conduct group and individual therapy sessions, and maintain accurate documentation in the charting system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physical therapy, social services, etc.) to support patient care and discharge planning. Use adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support communication outcomes. Qualifications Certification: CCC‑SLP and BLS . Minimum of 2 years of relevant speech‑language pathology experience, preferably in a charge or supervisory role. Familiarity with assessment tools such as ALS (Aphasia Language Performance Scale), BAE (Boston Aphasia Evaluation), WAB (Western Aphasia Battery), and other evidence‑based protocols. Experience with a variety of patient populations, including stroke, TBI, and neurological disorders. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (preferred: Epic). Travel Details Travel Type: Travel assignment. Duration: 13 weeks starting 07/27/2026. Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:00) per day. Weekly Hours: 40 hours. Radius: 75 miles.
