Role Description

Blackacre Management is looking for a creative, motivated, and outgoing Social Media Manager & Content Creator to help grow and manage our social media presence. This is an on-site position based in West Bloomfield Township, MI, with opportunities for part-time, full-time, or a paid internship.

The ideal candidate has some experience in social media management, videography, and video editing. We're looking for someone who understands social media trends, enjoys creating engaging content, and can bring fresh ideas to our company's online presence.

This position offers the opportunity to visit our properties, work directly with our team, create professional content, and gain hands-on experience in marketing and the commercial real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management: Manage and maintain Blackacre Management's social media accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Videography & Photography: Travel to our apartment buildings, office spaces, commercial properties, and other locations to record high-quality videos and take photos.
• Video Editing: Edit engaging, professional videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
• Day-in-the-Life Content: Create behind-the-scenes videos featuring our employees, management team, and daily operations at Blackacre Management.
• Property Marketing: Film apartment tours, office walkthroughs, available rental spaces, property amenities, and ongoing projects to help attract potential tenants and clients.
• Content Creation & Planning: Develop creative ideas, plan content calendars, write captions, and consistently publish engaging posts.
• Social Media Branding: Maintain an attractive, organized, and professional appearance across all social media pages while keeping our branding consistent.
• Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with social media trends, popular sounds, editing styles, and marketing strategies to increase engagement and reach.
• Collaboration: Work closely with employees and management to capture content, coordinate filming, and showcase different aspects of the company.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor social media engagement, views, follower growth, and other metrics to help improve content strategies.

Qualifications

• Social Media Marketing: Experience with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and an understanding of how to grow and manage social media accounts.
• Videography & Content Creation: Ability to record engaging videos, including property tours, behind-the-scenes footage, and day-in-the-life content.
• Video Editing: Experience using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar editing programs to produce professional short-form videos.
• Content Strategy & Creativity: Ability to develop original ideas, create engaging posts, write captions, and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
• Photography & Visual Presentation: A creative eye for capturing professional photos and videos that showcase our properties and company.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with employees, management, and other team members.
• Organization & Independence: Ability to manage multiple social media accounts, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel between Blackacre Management properties throughout the Metro Detroit area.
• Additional Beneficial Skills: Experience in graphic design, digital marketing, social media analytics, or an interest in commercial real estate.
• Preferred Qualifications: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Film, Business, or a related field. Previous social media or videography experience is preferred.
