Facility Equipment Mechanic

The Facility Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing general repairs and preventative maintenance activities on utility systems and associated equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Maintain competency in troubleshooting turbines, reciprocating gas compressors, air compressors, pumps and valves. Perform preventative maintenance activities on utility systems and equipment. Inspect, identify and repair mechanical issues. Maintain accurate records of all inspection and maintenance activities. Organize and work alongside installation contractors. Must be competent with the use of computers for research, material ordering, writing and updating work orders. Maintain good communication and work in a team environment. Act as the single point of contact with offsite and onsite vendors. Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and the general work area. Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations. Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Must have a minimum of 5 years related work experience High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid Driver License PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Experience working in the oil and gas industry Prior experience working on the North Slope #J-18808-Ljbffr ASRC Talent Solutions
