Human Resources Assistant 6-E8
State-of-Michigan
The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who has exemplary attention to detail, can problem-solve, organize, and prioritize work responsibilities, maintain excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced Human Resources environment. This position will serve as a Human Resources Assistant performing the full range of human resource activities serving the Department of Corrections-Jackson Correctional Facility. Ideal candidates will have: A strong understanding of human resource activities and responsibilities at the state of Michigan. Ability to investigate, analyze, interpret, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be proficiently skilled in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher). Position Description: Human Resources Assistant This position generally requires the education acquired through completion of high school.
