Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant as well as a Staff Accountant! As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and supporting the company’s ongoing financial transformation. This position is central to maintaining compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), corporate accounting policies, and external audit requirements. You will lead critical aspects of the month-end close process, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and deliver insightful analyses that inform business decisions. This role offers exposure to cross‑functional teams and evolving responsibilities as the company grows and evaluates new systems and processes. The Staff Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while supporting the company’s ongoing finance transformation efforts. This position is responsible for executing core accounting processes in compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies, and external audit requirements. The role is heavily involved in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, cash and other balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis. This position also supports cross‑functional initiatives and process improvements as the organization continues to scale and enhance its systems and controls. Key Responsibilities Month-End Close & Reporting Prepare journal entries, including accruals, with appropriate supporting documentation in accordance with U.S. GAAP Perform variance analysis and deliver insights to support financial reporting Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of reconciling items Support the standardization and improvement of the company-wide cash reconciliation process Financial Analysis & Insights Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Prepare ad hoc analyses to support business decision‑making Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Support Adhere to accounting policies and identify opportunities for process improvement Assist with special projects as assigned by management Partner with FP&A, Treasury, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial results Support external audit requests and documentation preparation Skills/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required CPA track preferred 1–6 years of progressive accounting experience Public accounting and/or public company experience preferred Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial analysis Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong overall MS Office skills Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking capabilities Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
