Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience and prior travel experience License: New Hampshire or compact RN license required Certifications: - Active BLS (AHA) - Active ACLS (AHA) - Active PALS (AHA) Must-Have: - Must be comfortable with drips and vents - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively - Must have own vehicle for this assignment - All medical/occupational health compliance items must be ordered/collected/resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance - All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission Description: Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks if scheduled/needed: - Thanksgiving Day/Friday after - Weekend after Christmas Eve through Christmas Day - Weekend after New Year Eve through New Year Day Request for time off during the course of this assignment must be noted at the time of upload. Requests after upload will not be approved. Non-billable orientation will not be offered. Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult life cycle. Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize the nursing process. Function in accordance with nursing philosophy and objectives, standards of care, and standards of practice. The key to Emergency Medical Services is the relationship between staff and rescuers. Work as a team with pre-hospital, emergency department, and in-hospital personnel. All requests for time off must be included in the profile. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.
