MDS Coordinator LPNChase City Health & Rehab - CHASE CITY, VA 23924OverviewSalary Range $34.00 - $37.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionMDS Coordinator RN/LPNChase City Health & Rehab, Chase City, VAAre you looking for an exciting, fast-paced and challenging opportunity to use your clinical and MDS 3.0 assessment skills and judgement and service focus to make a difference for our patients and caregivers?Work for a Virginia owned and operated company with Integrity.Chase City Health & Rehab Center in Chase City, VA is currently searching for an experienced, dynamic MDS Coordinator RN to join our interdisciplinary team and MDS Department.Benefits for our full-time positions include:Health, dental and life insurancePaid time off401(k) with employer matchingVision insuranceHealth savings accountEmployee assistance programDaily PayWhat's My Primary Role?Provide leadership to interdisciplinary team for management of the MDS, Clinical Reimbursement, Care Plan processes and utilization management processes in accordance with current federal, state, and local requirements and regulations and company policies and procedures.Ensure that the MDS/RAI deadlines and accuracy requirements are met while ensuring that coding most appropriately captures each patient's acuity and needs for accurate and optimal reimbursement.Assisting Center Leadership with Quality Improvement efforts, staff education, and regulatory compliance as it relates to the RAI process, Quality care, Reimbursement, and Quality Measures and Quality Reporting requirements.Demonstrate and promote a positive, collaborative, and caring team environment.QualificationsDo You Have What It Takes?Current RN license in good standing in VASignificant MDS 3.0 experience neededRAC-CT certification required within one year of employment if not certified at the time of hire. Must maintain certification as current once certifiedStrong computer skills, ability to work independently and well under pressureFlexibility, detail-oriented, organized, the ability to multi-task and be able to make effective decisions and work as part of a team
