Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Pontiac, MI. Join a highly skilled cardiovascular team at a Level II Trauma Center, providing exceptional care in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Schedule

• Day shifts with flexible scheduling based on department needs

• Shift options may include:

  • Five 8-hour shifts

  • Four 10-hour shifts

  • Two 8-hour shifts plus two 12-hour shifts

• Scheduled between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM

• On-call required: 7–11 on-call days per schedule, including one full weekend each month

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac and interventional procedures

• Prepare, monitor, and recover patients before, during, and after procedures

• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses

• Respond effectively to emergency situations in the Cath Lab

• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner PowerChart

• Follow hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based nursing practices

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN License (required at submission)

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

• Current BLS (AHA) certification

• Current ACLS certification
