Sr. DevSecOps Engineer III (6830)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classified environments.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI and Jenkins pipelines with integrated security scanning and STIG compliance validation.
• Create CloudFormation-based infrastructure as code for highly available and secure AWS DevSecOps tooling.
• Troubleshoot complex system and application issues using Linux command-line tools, logs, root cause analysis, and mitigation strategies.
• Provide development teams with guidance on secure coding, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and ATO efforts.
• Design secure Docker images and configure OpenShift deployments and container orchestration.
• Remediate Prisma security findings and guide teams on container security best practices.
• Perform code reviews, maintain technical documentation, share knowledge, and guide junior engineers.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly.
• IAT Level 2 certification, such as Security+, GSEC, or SSCP.
• At least 10 years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience delivering DevSecOps services across classified domains such as IL5 and IL6+.
• Expertise with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, and/or Prisma Cloud.
• Strong scripting experience with Python and Bash in Linux environments such as RHEL or Oracle Linux.
• Strong experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Tier 1–3 customer support and ticketing systems such as GitLab Service Desk or ServiceNow.
• Expertise with AWS capabilities and secure cloud infrastructure architecture, including EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS.
• Hands-on experience implementing STIG and SRG security requirements.
• Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerabilities, OWASP, NIST, and OpenSCAP.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with global enterprise stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
