Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Outpatient General Pediatrics

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in ambulatory care team by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients and their families.We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:Participate as a care team member in managing a panel of patients in partnership with our primary care physicians.Evaluate and treat acute and chronic health conditions and promote wellness in our outpatient primary care pediatric clinic.Provide counseling and education about common pediatric illnesses and promote wellness with patients and families.Education: Minimum –If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing ProgramIf Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA ProgramLicenses and Certifications: Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensureIf Nurse Practitioner*:Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice ANDActive board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Pediatric Primary Care or Family Medicine.If Physician Assistant*:Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice ANDActive PA board certificationAll Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice.
