Quality Engineer

Our client, a leading innovator in manufacturing and prototyping, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Operations department supporting the Prototyping division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $73/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Review Jira tickets to ensure accurate data quality and traceability
• Create balloon drawings and inspection report templates for quality inspections
• Review inspection documents and follow the established approval process
• Manage nonconformance processes when issues are identified to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain dashboards and generate weekly reports to monitor inspection progress and quality metrics

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of Quality Management standards and practices, with familiarity in APQP as a bonus
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong problem-solving skills
