What You’ll Do Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences Welcome every customer with a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic attitude. Engage customers through active listening to understand their footwear needs, preferences, and lifestyle. Provide personalized recommendations based on fit, comfort, performance, and style. Build long-term customer relationships through outstanding service and follow-up. Product Knowledge & Footwear Expertise Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of footwear brands, products, technologies, and trends. Explain product features, benefits, materials, and performance characteristics with confidence. Assist customers with shoe fittings to ensure proper fit, comfort, and support. Utilize the Aetrex Foot Scanning System to analyze foot structure and recommend footwear, orthotics, and accessories that address individual customer needs. Sales & Store Operations Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals while maintaining a customer-first approach. Accurately process sales, returns, exchanges, and special orders using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Promote complementary products and accessories that enhance the customer's purchase experience. Handle customer questions, concerns, and service issues professionally and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor. Replenish merchandise, stock shelves, and assist with visual displays. Receive shipments, process inventory, and participate in stock counts as needed. Ensure fitting areas, stockrooms, and common areas remain clean and well-maintained. Training & Teamwork Complete assigned product and sales training through ExpertVoice, Myagi, Wranx, and other company learning platforms. Stay current on footwear trends, brand updates, and industry developments. Collaborate with team members to create a positive, supportive, and results-driven environment. Utilize When to Work (or current scheduling platform) to manage schedules, availability, and time-off requests. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience. Experience working with footwear, apparel, sporting goods, or specialty retail. Interest in fashion, comfort footwear, wellness, or athletic products. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts. Ability to bend, reach, climb ladders, and move merchandise as needed. Ability to lift and carry boxes and merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
