Job Description Wayfare Energy iscurrently looking for experienced Electrical Helpers (Solar). ElectricalHelpers are expected to assist Electrician and Journeyman Leads (Solar) withinstalling a variety of electrical devices at job sites across the PalmBeach/Broward County area. Responsibilitiesinclude: Measure, cut and bendwire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools. Trace out short circuitsin wiring, using test meter Test electricalequipment or systems to ensure proper functioning Strip insulation fromwire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals forsubsequent soldering Drill holes and pull orpush wiring through openings, using hand and power tools Perform semi-skilled andunskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repairof a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment Dig trenches or holesfor installation of conduit or supports Maintain tools,vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order Organize tools andsupplies to be used at the work site according to the instructions of theelectrician Requirements Qualified candidateswill have: Minimum of 1-yearexperience is required Must have experience runningMC, bending conduit, installing boxes, lights, outlets, and pulling wire Ability to readblueprints a plus Adhere to all safetypolicies and procedures Willingness to learn andfollow detailed instructions Formal education and/ortraining preferred Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
