Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist (Remote – U.S.-based) Pay:$53.00/hour (W2) Type:Long-term contract (full-time, ~40 hours/week) Openings:60 Location:Remote (U.S.-based) Overview We’re hiringRemote Prior Authorization Pharmaciststo support Medicare Part D members and providers with pharmacy benefit requests. In this role, you’ll ensure cases are accurately set up, perform clinical review/decisioning, complete thorough documentation, and outreach to providers when additional clinical information is needed—while meeting quality, productivity, and CMS timeline requirements. What You’ll Do Set up and review pharmacy benefit / Medicare-related cases for accuracy and completeness Apply clinical judgment and utilize drug compendia/resources to support decisioning Document clearly and concisely within internal systems Contact providers to request/clarify clinical information when needed Follow work instructions and Medicare/CMS guidance to ensure compliance and timeliness Participate in feedback/coaching and continuous improvement efforts Schedule Business hours coverage window: Mon–Fri:7:00 AM – 8:00 PM ET Sat–Sun:7:00 AM – 4:30 PM ET Training (first ~8 weeks):Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM ET After training, shifts are assigned based on business needs and may includeweekend rotation / at least 1 weekend day Required Qualifications Active Pharmacist licensein good standing in yourstate of residence Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or PharmD(required) Comfort with aproductivity-driven, computer-basedenvironment (data entry + multiple applications) High-speed wired internetmeeting25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload(speed test screenshot required) Dedicated, quiet, separatework-from-homeworkspace Ability to beon camerafor training and meetings as part of the hiring/ongoing work process Nice to Have Experience in aManaged Care / PBMenvironment Working knowledge ofExcel and Word Familiarity with tools likeAccess, PowerPoint, Visio Benefits (Contract) Benefits available to eligible full-time employees after90 days 401(k) eligibility with company match after1 yearof service (per program rules) Interested?
