Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and experienced candidates for a Maintenance Mechanic position with a Local Manufacturer of Packaging. This position will pay $30.76 per hour and will work a 2/2/3 Rotating schedule from 6PM - 6AM.


Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance on a variety of machines
• Maintain/repair water, gas, air, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Operator industrial lifts (Boom, Scissor lifts, etc.)
• Install, test, adjust and repair mechanical systems, electrical systems and equipment in facility and warehouses
• Use computer software to manage length of repair time, and follow maintenance schedule to complete tasks
• Complies with all Company Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have 3+ years Industrial Maintenance Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have experience with reading blueprints and diagrams
• Possess basic mathematical skills
• Demonstrates Electrical / Mechanical aptitude
• Must have own tools
• Able to work at heights and in overhead structures, work beneath machines and in close quarters or confined spaces, performing analysis and repair work
• Capable of working with fumes, inks, cleaners and alcohol, hot/humid in the summer environment
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: ear plugs, safety glasses and foot protection
