It provides centralized command and control for Major Incident, Cyber Event, and Operational Risk Event support, ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of our service offerings. This role, as Senior Vice President and EMEA regional lead for Services Major Incident Management and Cyber Response, requires overseeing complex, critical, and large‑scale professional disciplinary areas, leading multiple teams, and exercising strategic control over resources, policy formulation, and short‑ to medium‑term planning. Responsibilities Proven leadership experience in the financial services industry, with focus on cash management, transactional banking, and trade operations. Stakeholder management and senior leadership communication, fostering alignment among diverse stakeholder groups. Global collaboration experience working with multi‑region initiatives, projects, and teams in large matrix organizations. Ability to influence partners and drive cross‑functional work to achieve optimal solutions to complex problems. Detail‑oriented and results‑driven, managing multiple assignments to completion under tight deadlines. Incident and crisis management expertise, including ownership, classification, initial support, escalation, notification, business impact analysis, and resolution tracking. Rapid remediation and escalation: drive engagement of key remediation resources and subject‑matter experts to avoid or minimize client‑visible service disruptions. Severity assessment and communication: establish consistent severity assessment across all regions and lines of business, and oversee timely publication of incident status updates. Strategic incident preparedness: coordinate proactive virtual war rooms for significant planned releases or anticipated market events. Enhanced escalation frameworks: develop, implement, and manage escalation models for key platinum clients and critical internal flows. Cyber event coordination: manage cyber event response and communication for all SMBF Lines of Business globally. Near miss oversight: provide oversight for early capture of technology‑caused near miss events, collaborate with Technology Risk, Production Management, and Business teams. Team leadership and performance: manage performance and development of direct reports and subordinate teams, fostering a high‑performance culture. Exceptional communication skills, including verbal and written proficiency, influencing, negotiating, and presenting to senior leaders. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of AI Prompt Engineering, with the ability to create process and tooling solutions. Qualifications Proven track record of leadership in incident management, cyber response, or a related field. Experience in senior stakeholder management, effective negotiation, and influencing at executive levels. Track record in project management with demonstrable results improving IT services and operational resilience. Exceptional leadership capabilities focused on team development and performance management. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with clarity, conciseness, and the ability to tailor communication for diverse audiences. Strong ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Education Bachelor’s or University degree required.
