Low Voltage Technician - Hobbs New Mexico Start TUESDAY

Job Description

Everhart-IT is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to assist with the installation of IP camera systems at commercial facilities.

Technicians must be comfortable working independently and as part of a small field team installing and terminating structured cabling and security devices.

Scope of Work

• Installation of IP security cameras
• Terminate CAT6 cable
• Install and terminate RJ45 connectors
• Install and terminate CAT6 keystone jacks
• Run and secure low-voltage cabling
• Assist with device mounting and system testing

Requirements

• Experience with low-voltage / structured cabling
• Experience with IP cameras or access control systems
• Must have own tools
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to start Monday
• Professional attitude and ability to work on commercial job sites

Preferred Experience

• Access control systems
• CCTV installation
• Network cable testing and labeling
