Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Nursing Team in Charleston, SC!

Job Description:


- Shift: 07:00 - 19:00
- Schedule:
- Work in accordance with facility policy
- Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees


- Unit Specifics:
- *Number of Beds:* 30 (fully operational by March/April; currently 18 due to renovations)
- *Patient Ratios:* 6-7:1
- *Staffing Description:* Team nursing approach with techs on the unit, US on day shift, and strive for a free Charge Nurse to support the team


- Technical Details:
- *Type of Equipment:* Regular for Med Surg
- *Documentation System:* Meditech


- Scheduling Requirements:
- Must work 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period


- Floating Policy:
- Required to float to like units as needs arise


- Patient Experience Requirements:
- Perform hourly safety rounds
- Conduct bedside shift report with the patient


- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- NIH Stroke Scale (can be obtained here)


- Dress Code:
- Required uniform: Navy color
