Position Summary Produce sales gains by delivering excellent customer service, meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics, provide consistent, documented appraisal of sales performance, give feedback on strengths and opportunities while aligning with company objectives, adhere to visual guidelines—including merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness—and maintain a professional appearance consistent with the dress code policy. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Generate sales by providing customer service. Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics. Provide documented appraisal of sales performance and give feedback on strengths and opportunities. Adhere to visual guidelines: proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the dress code policy. Protect company assets within LIDS Retail policies. Assist in preparing store schedules within wage control guidelines. Accurately manage inventory—including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts. Document and record keeping per LIDS Retail policies and applicable laws. Open and close the store per procedures in the Operations P&P Manual. Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Participate in LIDS training programs and achieve set sales and task goals. Recruit and train store personnel on proper operations and procedures. Enforce company policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring safe handling of inventory, funds, and property. Perform subordinates’ work as needed. Communicate with employees at all levels of the company. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal skills and clear, professional verbal communication. Computer proficiency and familiarity with common software programs. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead. Standing required for up to 100% of the work time. Ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Qualifications Assistant Store Managers may earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Compensation varies by skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Managers part‑time positions are available with monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount. Compensation and Benefits For Minnesota‑based roles: Annual pay ranges may fall between $32,386 and $58,656. Additional bonuses and benefits may be offered. Reporting Structure Reports to: Store Manager. Location 9095 – NBA Store – Mall of America.
