Position Overview Hendrick Chrysler Jeep FIAT (Fayetteville) – Service Dealer Location: 543 N. McPherson Church Rd, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28303 Summary: Responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work. This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Examines customer vehicles. Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance. Estimates cost of repairs. Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance. Documents services performed. Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines. Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines. Requests necessary parts. Effectively utilizes available technologies to enhance customer experience. Maintains CSI at or above company standards. Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area. Participates in required training. Records all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system. Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrates the company’s core values. Complies with company policies and procedures. Observes all federal, state, local, and company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: GED or high school diploma; associate, bachelor, master, or doctoral degree acceptable. Field of study: Accounting, automotive, business, human resources, or information technology. Work experience: 3–5 years or 5+ years. Knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge. Technical training or equivalent experience required. Valid driver’s license. Certified/senior technician with respective manufacturer preferred. State inspection/emissions license required by state. All required manufacturer fundamental training and/or NAPA training provided by HAG. Exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests. Completed manufacturer training for warranty repairs/recalls, PDI, maintenance, and minor repairs. Basic computer skills for timekeeping and parts inventory systems. Good communication skills—able to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively with customers and personnel. Reliable attendance; scheduled shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands: must lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, use hands, reach, and work in various positions. Environment demands: work around vehicles, use power tools, exposure to noise, vibration, and exhaust fumes. Strong verbal and written communication ability. Basic mathematics and reasoning skills.
