Our dedicated health care team is an integral part of the compassionate quality care we provide for our residents and their families.RN Duties Include:As a Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor, complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.Measure and record residents' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration as needed upon assessment.Care Plan development and modificationEnsure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.Administer high-quality nursing care to residents.Develop and implement resident treatment and care plans.Monitor and report any changes in resident symptoms or behaviors.Communicate effectively with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding resident care.Educate residents on health maintenance and disease prevention.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents.Provide emotional support to residents and their families.Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests.Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams.Qualifications:Current New York State RN license in good standing.Familiarity with NYS Department of Health regulations and guidelines.Previous experience in long-term care preferred.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Acknowledgement:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
