THIS IS FOR CURRENT MNU STUDENTS ONLYWE ACCEPT BOTH FEDERAL WORK STUDY & NON-FEDERAL WORK STUDY STUDENTSOverview:Responsible for promoting a welcome environment to prospective students and their families by assisting the Admissions Department in performing various functions essential to recruitment, managing, and assisting in executing campus visits as well as assisting recruiters and admissions counselors in their daily duties.Not every student worker for admissions will have the same responsibilities. Some will be more guest/forward facing, while others will do more behind the scenes roles to serve our admissions staff. However, all roles are essential to the recruitment of prospective students.Responsibilities & Duties:Give Tours to prospective students, parents, and high school groups.Assist reception desk by answering and transferring phone calls.Assisting admissions counselors and recruiters in their daily tasksPreparing a project timeline and executing follow-through.Assisting with social media promotionAssist the Campus Engagement coordinator in designing and implementing recruitment programming.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Attention to details.Highly motivated, result driven, and self-starter work ethic.Committed to the Mission & Vision to MNU.One year of customer service preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.Skills Gained:Enhanced verbal and written communication skillsConfidence of speaking & interacting with all ages and ethnicities.AdaptabilityTime Management, including punctuality and promptness.Recognizing putting others firstMidAmerica Nazarene University policy prohibits discrimination based on race, gender, age, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, marital status, or disability in the recruitment and admission of students and in the operation of all university programs, activities, and services.Any concerns regarding discrimination based on gender or disability should be addressed to the Human Resources Director. #J-18808-Ljbffr
