Production & Instrumentation Technician Electrical-Mechanical Kansas City, MO, United States | req29240 What you will enjoy doing You will operate cryogenic plant equipment safely and optimize for continuous production Troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems Further, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment And you will analyze process performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with safety procedures such as lock-out tag-out and permit-to-work, and uphold company standards Collaborate effectively with operations teams and contractors in a fast-paced environment You will oversee contractors performing routine and non-routine work to guarantee safety compliance and quality execution Execute lock-out tag-out procedures consistently and recommend improvements to enhance process availability and reliability What Makes You Great You bring experience operating production processes or systems in an industrial environment with a strong focus on safety And you demonstrate proficiency in mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and industrial instrumentation Apply knowledge of controls and human machine interface platforms such as Wonderware, Rockwell, and Siemens You can read and revise engineering drawings, including piping and instrumentation diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams Communicate technical information clearly to support safe, coordinated, and effective teamwork Operate forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms safely and confidently following established procedures Utilize strong computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to ensure accurate documentation and reporting Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
