Front Desk Receptionist

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a professional and customer-focused individual to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with prior medical office, ambulatory surgery center, or healthcare reception experience who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments and procedures.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Collect copays, deductibles, and other patient payments.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Obtain and scan insurance cards, referrals, and medical documentation.
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff.
• Assist with patient registration and completion of intake paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of medical receptionist, medical office, ambulatory surgery center, or healthcare front desk experience preferred.
• Experience verifying insurance and obtaining authorizations preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
