Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specialty position located in West Palm Beach, Florida. This role involves providing direct clinical care in a PACU setting, supporting high-quality patient recovery and safety. It is essential for candidates to undertake proper onboarding procedures and adhere to unit protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, active certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), ability to work in Florida, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in PACU or related perioperative areas.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous PACU experience and competency in post-anesthesia patient care are advantageous.
• Additional Information: The PACU unit has 45 beds and manages approximately 55 patients. Candidates must complete facility onboarding in accordance with healthy intervention protocols. For Emergency Room roles, candidates are required to have Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification prior to start. The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering direct clinical care, supervising staff as delegated, and supporting the facility Chief Nursing Officer to maintain high standards of care and resource management.
