FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Details Location: 8000 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC 28214. Schedule: Full‑time; Wednesday – Saturday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, or 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Wednesday – Saturday 5:00 pm – 3:30 am, or Sunday – Wednesday 5:00 pm – 3:30 am. Fixed Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour. Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions Maintains knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surfaces. Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming. Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
