雇用形態 / 勤務形態 Full Time Permanent, On-site Position Sales Manager Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales activities within an assigned district. This role involves organizing, motivating, and leading a sales team to achieve established sales targets. The Sales Manager also manages existing accounts, oversees distributors, secures orders, and develops new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to engage with existing and prospective customers and other relevant trade partners. Essential Duties Achieve targeted revenue, profit, and growth objectives established by the company on an annual and quarterly basis. Prospect new customers using a variety of methods and approaches. Conduct cold calling as needed to generate customer meetings. Meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Establish sales objectives by developing sales plans and district quotas in support of national goals. Maintain and expand the customer base by providing guidance and support to distributors. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities and/or service improvements through analysis of customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity. Implement trade promotions by participating in trade shows and evaluating trade-related expenditures. Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations, and follow up with distributors and key decision-makers. Regularly communicate with the Management Team to review weekly sales activities, the status of prospective customers, progress toward sales goals, and key deadlines. Actively network within relevant industry organizations and professional circles. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of supply and demand conditions, market trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, building professional networks, and participating in industry associations. Monitor competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, new product launches, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. Recommend changes to products, services, and policies based on performance results, and competitive developments. Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team. Working Hours, Working style 8:00-17:00 On-site This position requires up to 75% travel. Working Location Elk Grove Village, Illinois Salary/Benefit 90-100K Exempt Dental, Medical, PTO Holidays Saturday, Sunday US National Holiday Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred. General Qualifications Legally eligible to work in the United States. Minimum 5 years outside sales experience with a proven track record of success. Minimum 2 years of experience in management. Good driving record. Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training. Skills Required Must present and communicate in a professional manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized with good time management skills. Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company. Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications. Developing and executing sales strategies. Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Must be self‑motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals. Meeting Sales Goals individually and that of the team. Negotiation with customers and vendors regarding price, specifications, delivery and payment terms. Sales planning skills. Excellent decision making skills. Physical / Mental Requirements / Working Conditions The ability to walk, stand, turn, climb, kneel, sit for extended periods, reach, lift, carry, push, talk, hear and see. The ability to use an office phone, cell phone, fax machine, photocopier, computer keyboard, laptop and other electronic business tools and related software. Mental requirements include, but are not limited to, the ability to concentrate, take initiative, cope with stress, adapt to and stay alert in a business environment and use independent judgment to accomplish all duties and responsibilities. Periodic weekend or evening travel, responding to emails and teleconferences or other sales goal related work is expected. The ability to schedule around customer needs in multiple time zones to achieve effective communication and reach goals. #J-18808-Ljbffr
