As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Duty in Westford, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity within an aero and defense location, verifying credentials and supporting authorized entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Observe for potential facility, equipment, and/or operational irregularities and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
