Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A focused opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist experienced in both sterile and non-sterile compounding within a specialty retail environment. This role offers a daytime schedule, providing a balanced work-life routine with the potential for direct hire after a 13-week contract period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing and order entry using PK software (training provided)
- Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding accurately and safely
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations specific to North Carolina
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and customers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage inventory and documentation efficiently
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
- Experience in sterile compounding highly beneficial
- Experience in non-sterile compounding preferred
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in North Carolina
Location:
- Lexington, NC
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- One-hour lunch break daily
