Registered Nurse RN Wound Care Contingent - Clinton Twp

Role Overview Registered Nurse RN Ambulatory Wound Care - Clinton Twp Medical Building – 15520 19 Mile Rd. May involve some traveling to Chesterfield Twp Medical Building – 30795 23 Mile Rd, Chesterfield Twp. Contingent position: Minimum of 1–2 days per week, plus additional coverage for vacations, leaves, etc. Responsibilities Perform in-basket tasks and phone triage. Provide wound care dressing changes and wound measurements. Conduct patient assessments and record vitals. Document care and collaborate with providers. Set up home care services. Lead coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions. Candidate Preferences Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an ambulatory/clinic or inpatient hospital setting such as Med Surg, ER, or ICU. Must have wound care experience. Contingent Option 1 Unit-based contingent that reports directly to the Unit Manager/Unit Director. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse. (Refer to Job Description, Registered Nurse, F02426). Qualifications (External) Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. Experience: 1–2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice. Licensure: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
