Chief of Staff to the CEO

Turn executive priorities into finished work across sales, fundraising, partnerships, government opportunities, and operations.

The Chief of Staff will increase the CEO's leverage by bringing structure, analysis, exceptional communication, and relentless follow-through to the company's highest-priority work. This is an execution role for someone who can independently turn an ambiguous objective into a workplan, decision, presentation, model, and completed next step.

What success looks like

• Create a reliable executive operating cadence with clear priorities, decisions, owners, deadlines, and closed follow-ups.
• Raise the quality and speed of investor, partner, customer, government, board, and internal materials.
• Build trusted models and dashboards that allow leadership to understand performance, risks, scenarios, and decisions.
• Move cross-functional priorities from discussion to measurable completion while surfacing blockers early.

Responsibilities

• Translate CEO priorities into weekly plans, decision memos, agendas, action trackers, and completed follow-ups.
• Create persuasive, visually excellent PowerPoint presentations for investors, customers, partners, government stakeholders, the board, and internal teams.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel models, forecasts, scenario analyses, operating trackers, dashboards, and data-quality checks.
• Draft and edit proposals, executive correspondence, briefing notes, reports, and other high-stakes English-language materials.
• Manage strategic projects end to end: clarify scope, structure workstreams, assign owners, manage dependencies, track risks, and drive delivery.
• Prepare leadership meetings, document decisions, challenge unclear assumptions, and ensure commitments are completed.
• Support sales, fundraising, partnerships, business development, and SAM.gov opportunity coordination as priorities require.

Required qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years in a Chief of Staff, founder's associate, consulting, operations, sales, business development, project-management, or similarly demanding execution role.
• Exceptional PowerPoint capability, including narrative structure, executive-level slide writing, visual hierarchy, chart selection, and production of polished presentations under tight deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel ability, including complex formulas, structured models, scenario analysis, data validation, pivot tables, charts, and auditable executive reporting.
• Outstanding written English with the ability to develop persuasive proposals, presentations, briefs, and executive communications from incomplete inputs.
• Demonstrated end-to-end project-management skill across ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and comfort working directly with senior leaders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with CRM systems, workflow automation, analytics, and AI productivity tools.
• Experience with fundraising, financial services, enterprise sales, public-sector procurement, or regulated products.
• SAM.gov registration, opportunity research, capture, proposal, or compliant-submission experience.
