Emergency Solutions is conducting a search for an experienced Medical Assistant to join a growing outpatient Plastic Surgery practice in South Florida. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and patient-focused Medical Assistant seeking long-term growth within a collaborative and fast-paced surgical environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior Medical Assistant experience and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting providers and clinical operations.

Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies
• Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions
• Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR
• Assist with prescription refills, referrals, and administrative tasks as needed
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical protocols
• Support overall clinic operations and patient flow

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant experience required
• Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, Cosmetic, or Surgical experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional and patient-centered demeanor
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
