OB Hospitalist

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, located in beautiful Spartanburg, South Carolina, is seeking OB Hospitalists (Nocturnists) to join a new and rapidly growing program. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume, well-supported clinical environment while enjoying an excellent work-life balance with a nocturnist schedule.Program Highlights:*

Busy 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit with over 3,800 deliveries annually and 12,000 OBED encounters*

Support from an OBGYN residency program, providing opportunities for teaching and collaboration*

Hospitalists attend all deliveries, emergency OB consults, and provide coverage for a 6-bed OBED*

Double physician coverage model with Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) support*

24/7 in-house OB anesthesia, Level III NICU, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) availabilityRole Responsibilities:*

Provide coverage for OBED/emergency and unassigned patients*

Deliver call coverage and assist private OB/GYN physicians with deliveries and gynecologic emergencies*

Collaborate with private OB/GYNs, who retain care of their own post-operative patientsSchedule:*

Full-time: 12-14 shifts per 4-week block*

12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)Compensation & Benefits:*

Earning potential exceeding $400,000 annually*
