Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available for members to take home to their families. You will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business by working in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and food‑safety standards; maintain and sanitize equipment; manage inventory and cold‑chain compliance. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality. Be an Owner: Ensure operational excellence, maintain work area, uphold quality and date‑control standards, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience; model high‑quality service and products; execute basics at the highest quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply practices to business processes. The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks performed.
