This position offers a focused, one-on-one assignment from June 1 to June 26, 2026, providing professional nursing care during the student's extended school year. You will be onsite, working weekdays from 8am to 3pm, for a total of approximately 35 hours per week. Step into a vital role supporting a 3-year-old student with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD). The student is non-ambulatory, weighs about 24 lbs, has an NG-tube (not G-tube), and will require assistance with lifting, transport, and bus travel. Key Qualifications: Must hold current RN licensure Prior pediatric nursing experience is required School nursing experience is highly valued Familiarity with NG-tube care (not G-tube) Physically able to safely lift and transfer a non-ambulatory child (~24 lbs) Confident providing care during transportation (bussing required) Comfortable working in an onsite school environment Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care throughout the school day, including classroom and transportation support Safely assist with lifting, transferring, positioning, and mobility needs Monitor and manage NG-tube feedings Collaborate with educational and clinical teams to develop care strategies Maintain clear, accurate documentation regarding interventions and observations This contract offers a rewarding opportunity to provide crucial support to a young child in a nurturing environment.
