This role ensures contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, financial objectives, and operational standards while minimizing risk and supporting business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and amendmentsEnsure contractual compliance with company policies and applicable lawsCoordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and business teams during contract developmentMonitor contract performance, deliverables, milestones, renewals, and expirationsIdentify and mitigate contractual risks and resolve disputes when necessaryMaintain contract databases and document management systemsSupport vendor and supplier relationship managementReview terms related to pricing, service levels, confidentiality, indemnification, and liabilityTrack key contract metrics and prepare management reportsEnsure timely execution and renewal of agreementsAssist with audits and regulatory compliance activitiesDevelop and improve contract management procedures and best practicesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or related field3–7+ years of contract management, procurement, legal operations, or related experienceStrong knowledge of contract terminology and commercial agreementsExperience negotiating vendor or client contractsExcellent organizational and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management systemsPreferred QualificationsCertified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or similar certificationExperience with ERP or procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or CoupaExperience in healthcare, government, construction, technology, or manufacturing industriesFamiliarity with regulatory and compliance standardsKey SkillsContract negotiationRisk managementVendor managementAttention to detailFinancial analysisProblem-solvingProject coordinationCompliance managementTypical Contracts ManagedVendor agreementsService contractsNon-disclosure agreements (NDAs)Statements of work (SOWs)Licensing agreementsConsulting agreementsProcurement contractsMaster service agreements (MSAs)This is an exempt position with salary range of $70,000 - $90,000About Our CommitmentTotal Rewards at VillageMDOur team members are essential to our mission to reshape healthcare through the power of connection.
