Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked as a teacher and later in college recruiting. Those experiences strengthened my passion for helping others and building meaningful relationships. I'm also a third-generation State Farm agent and a graduate of Eastern Michigan University. Serving the community is one of my greatest passions. I'm a Community Cabinet Ambassador, support the Community Cabinet Food Pantry, serve on the Child Advocacy Board, and am involved with both the Alma Action Committee and the Downtown Development Committee. I love giving back to the community that has supported my agency. ROLE DESCRIPTION: As an Account Associate for Katie Tobias - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our office through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage customer accounts and update information in the database. Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries. Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status. Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
