Maintenance Manager

Company Description Ficosa North America has been operating in the United States since 1995, initially establishing a technical-commercial office in Michigan to be close to major automotive decision centers in Detroit. The company has steadily expanded its capabilities in the NAFTA region with a test laboratory (1996), CAD department (1997), and prototype laboratory (1998). In 2000, Ficosa consolidated its Engineering Centre in Madison Heights, Michigan, strengthening its technical presence for the North American market. Since 2008, Ficosa has also operated a production plant in Cookeville, Tennessee, supporting advanced automotive component manufacturing and providing long-term career opportunities in a growing facility. Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Ficosa’s production plant in Cookeville, TN. This role oversees the maintenance team, plans and coordinates maintenance activities, and ensures that all production and facility equipment operates safely and efficiently. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, organizing repairs, and minimizing downtime. The Maintenance Manager monitors maintenance budgets, maintains records, implements continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with production, engineering, and safety teams to support operational goals. This role also involves training and mentoring maintenance staff, enforcing safety standards, and working with external vendors and service providers as needed. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills and experience leading maintenance or technical teams. Proficiency in equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair activities for production machinery and facility systems. Experience in preventive maintenance planning and maintenance management, including scheduling, documentation, and tracking of work orders. Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and best practices in industrial maintenance. Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Relevant technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Experience in automotive manufacturing or similar high-volume production environment is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
