Location: Meredith andPlymouth, New Hampshire regions FLSA: Exempt, Officer First/Mid Level Officials and Managers Salary: Negotiable based on level of experience Join MVSB as a VP Commercial Loan Officer MVSB is seeking an experienced VP Commercial Loan Officer to strengthen commercial banking relationships throughout the Meredith and Plymouth, New Hampshire regions. What You’ll Do In this role, you will manage and grow a diverse portfolio of commercial loan relationships with business clients and commercial borrowers. You will evaluate creditworthiness, structure lending solutions, and support responsible portfolio growth while maintaining sound credit quality, regulatory compliance, and strong client service. How You’ll Make an Impact Strengthen commercial lending relationships with new and existing business clients Support local business growth through thoughtful lending solutions and responsive service Manage a commercial loan portfolio with a focus on credit quality, client experience, and production goals Meet with applicants, gather financial documentation, and evaluate borrower creditworthiness Prepare and present sound loan recommendations in accordance with established lending policies Ensure approved loans are properly documented, structured, collateralized, and serviced Identify opportunities to expand broader banking relationships, including deposit and additional banking services Monitor portfolio activity, including maturities, past dues, and borrower financial updates Represent MVSB through business development, community involvement, and relationship-building efforts Collaborate with internal teams and business lines to support strategic lending opportunities What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial lending experience, sound credit judgment, and a genuine commitment to building long-term client relationships.
