Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1-2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: Current BLS certification Must-Have: - Minimum of 1 year experience in PACU or related area - Strong assessment and critical thinking skills - Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Description: This position involves providing care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. You will monitor patients' vital signs and help manage pain control. Responsibilities include assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, and coordinating with the healthcare team for post-operative care. The role requires effective communication with patients and their families regarding recovery expectations and any necessary follow-up care. Candidates should have a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate critical thinking in emergency situations.
