2026 Salary Range: $89,508.00 - $138,370.00/Year (includes locality)

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Force Working Capital Fund financial specialist within an Air Logistics Complex performing various financial management, budget, and analysis functions in support of Depot Maintenance mission, goals, and objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Comprehensive knowledge of policies, processes, procedures, and regulations governing budgetary processes procedures, and regulations governing budgetary processes.

2. Strong knowledge of laws and regulations governing financial procedures.

3. Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports, schedules, and statements.

4. Complex technical ability and knowledge of financial management systems and concepts.

5. Strong functional knowledge of DoD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Systems (PPBS), its process, products, terminology, and Guidance documents (e.g., President's Budget Review (PBR), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Five-Year Defense Plan (FYDP), Defense Guidance).

6. Independent ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.

7. Clear ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

8. In-depth ability to formulate, justify, and execute assigned budget.

Additional Position Requirements:

1. This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the national Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.

2. Work occasionally may require travel away from the normal duty station.

3. The work requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

4. The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings and/or weekends.
