JOB DESCRIPTION

SECTION NO: HOTEL HOUSEKEEPING SUBJECT: GUEST ROOM ATTENDANT

EFFECTIVE DATE: 04-01-2024

REPORTS TO: HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR AND LEAD INSPECTOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Guest Room Attendant’s main focus is the cleanliness and sanitation of our guest rooms and the comfort of our stayover guests. Ensures that cart and supplies are adequately stocked for completion of their duties. Review assignment board to make effective use of time on shift and clean all rooms Enters only rooms that are vacant or called in by front desk prior to check out time After Check Out time, knocks on rooms and if unoccupied, begins cleaning room. Call for houseman support in stripping and clearing trash from room Cleans and sanitizes guest room per Treasure Bay standard May be called back to rooms by inspector or above to catch anything that was missed in the initial cleaning process. Perform Turndown service as directed

• Swing Shift) pick up and assist day shift with any incomplete rooms to ensure timely check in for our guests
• Swing Shift) perform laundry service as directed
• Swing Shift) go through laundry delivery and move linen and stock lockers and carts as directed

Any additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:

None

EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School Graduate or equivalent. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer experience is a plus. In depth knowledge of chemicals and housekeeping equipment.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
