Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8-10 hours Experience: Minimum 12 months of Dialysis experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS required Must-Have: - At least 12 months of current Dialysis experience - Experience with Fresenius equipment required - EPIC electronic medical systems experience required Description: The position involves providing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. The nurse will work in a unit with a bed ratio of 2:1, and some patients may require 1:1 care. Candidates must be willing to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. All candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility. Former employees are not eligible for rehire within a specified timeframe if they had a particular work status. There is a call schedule that includes being on call 1x per week and every fourth weekend. The nurse must adhere to professional standards and provide quality patient care while following established protocols. Candidates should prepare to undergo a reference check and have a skills checklist specific to the dialysis discipline.
