Role Overview
\n We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (BC/BE) Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis intervention for a diverse patient population. You will collaborate closely with social workers, therapists, and primary care providers to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Assessment : Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and mental status examinations.
\n
• Treatment Planning : Develop, implement, and monitor individualized pharmacological and therapeutic treatment plans for acute and chronic mental health conditions.
\n
• Collaborative Care : Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide consultations to primary care and specialty medical staff.
\n
• Patient Advocacy : Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term wellness strategies.
\n
• Documentation : Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with federal and state regulations.
\n
• Crisis Management : Provide emergency psychiatric assessments and intervention as needed within the clinical or hospital setting.

Minimum Qualifications

\n

\n
• Education : Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
\n
• Training : Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Psychiatry.
\n
• Licensure : Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted State Medical License and DEA registration.
\n
• Certification : Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Psychiatry by the ABPN or an equivalent board.
\n
