The Therapeutic Group Facilitator leads structured group sessions designed to promote emotional well-being, personal growth, and recovery among participants. This role involves developing and implementing therapeutic activities, fostering positive group interactions, providing psychoeducation, and supporting individuals in achieving treatment goals. The facilitator works closely with clinical staff to assess participant needs, monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. Strong communication, group leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

• Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational group sessions.
• Encourage participant engagement and healthy communication.
• Monitor group dynamics and address conflicts appropriately.
• Document attendance, participation, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with counselors, therapists, and case managers.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Assist in developing treatment-related activities and curricula.
• Support crisis intervention and participant safety when needed.

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Master's preferred for some settings).
• Experience facilitating groups in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or community services.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques, group dynamics, and trauma-informed care.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
