The Maintenance Mechanic ensures the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of high-speed aluminum pan fabrication machinery. This role focuses heavily on mechanical presses, progressive stamping dies, hydraulic systems, and automated packaging lines , minimizing downtime in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Heavy Machinery & Press Maintenance

• Maintain and repair mechanical stamping presses , hydraulic presses, and automated feed systems.
• Troubleshoot progressive and transfer dies , checking for proper alignment, clearance, and feed timing.
• Service scrap conveyor systems and aluminum balers to ensure uninterrupted material flow.

 

System & Facility Support

• Diagnose and rebuild pneumatic systems , air cylinders, and vacuum systems used to handle lightweight aluminum pans.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic power units , pumps, valves, and high-pressure lines.
• Perform basic electrical repairs (up to 480V) on electric motors, sensors, conveyors, and heating elements.

Preventive Maintenance & Safety

• Execute PM schedules on high-speed lubrication systems, roll feeders, and automated stackers.
