Job Title Area Service Leader Location Pomona, CA; San Diego, CA; Phoenix, AZ Job Summary The Area Service Leader provides leadership for all service activities—from installation of new equipment through implementation of services contracts and lifetime connectivity—within Western U.S. locations. Responsibilities include supporting sales with contract pricing, coordinating field service, managing technicians and supervisors, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue and margin for the parts and services business. Responsibilities Accountable for full services portfolio performance and technician skill balance across emergency, maintenance, scheduled, and long‑term contracts. Collaborate with Operations and Sales leaders to align service coordination, pricing, and profitable operations. Attract, coach, and develop service employees; implement continuous improvement and technical training programs. Build and manage the technician and supervisor pipeline to prevent resource gaps. Maximize cash flow by timely invoicing, expense control, and increased utilization of the service team. Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance and training for all employees. Visit customers regularly to build relationships and provide solutions. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical, Marketing, or Business. 5+ years of experience in the industrial product space with diverse service offerings. 3+ years management experience in a customer‑facing environment. Key Competencies Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and workforce development capabilities. Experience managing P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and resource acquisition. A strategic mindset to support growth through process improvements and lean initiatives. Preferences Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business from a four‑year institution. Technical and/or mechanical capabilities are a plus. Travel & Work Arrangements Position based in the West region area customer centers with regional and overnight out‑of‑town travel required (approximately 30%). Pay Range $100,000 – $200,000, including incentive compensation, adjusted for skill, experience, and business needs.
