We are a fast‑growing healthcare informatics and population health management SaaS company focused on supporting organizations that care for high‑complexity, high‑severity patient populations, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care, and ACA plans, ACOs, health systems, MSOs, and primary care groups. Our platform integrates EHR, claims, device, and care management data to power risk stratification, cohort building, care gap identification, clinical workflows, outcomes‑aligned analytics, and provide real‑time insights.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an ETL Developer with healthcare experience to design, implement, and optimize ETL processes while driving efficiency through automation. You will work with all levels of management and across departments to define requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects. The ideal candidate is highly independent and proactive, with the ability to work with minimal supervision, while demonstrating strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Hands‑on experience in ETL development and Agile methodologies is highly preferred. You will be responsible for developing high‑quality, scalable ETL solutions aligned with business objectives and user needs, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and efficiently delivered to support decision‑making. Additionally, the ongoing development, improvement, and maintenance of the ETL processes that run on our MS SQL data warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement and optimize Microsoft SQL‑based ETL processes using SSIS packages and Stored Procedures to extract from a variety of sources, including API's, databases, and text files. Responsible for the design of ETL data feeds. Deploy and maintain ETL processes in a development environment. Perform code optimization and performance tuning of existing ETL processes. Generate ad‑hoc reports for different users. Re‑define ETL process validation, metadata maintenance, data integrity validation process, quality standards, and monitoring standards to ensure data quality. Provide accurate estimates of the effort required to complete assignments. Document technical designs with charts, diagrams, schemes, and descriptive software component documentation Research and advise on emerging technologies with respect to industry best practices, procedures, and concepts. Manage highly complex projects from start to finish using Agile/SCRUM development methodology and Team Foundation Server (TFS). Develop and assist Project Managers and Directors with the creation of task‑level project plans that detail the specific tasks required to deliver a solution. Develop, test, and implement system changes and upgrades.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions. The candidate must have knowledge of the following: Visual Studio, SSIS, Team Foundation. 3 years designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Experience analyzing existing SQL queries and scripts for performance improvements. Understanding of SQL, relational, and analytical databases. Strong analytical skills to understand business needs in terms of business value. Experience identifying, recommending, and implementing ETL process improvements. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with various levels of the organization. Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Experience with enterprise databases, MS‑SQL.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in building ingestion pipelines for healthcare data sources (837/835, 270/271, 277CA, CCD/C‑CDA, FHIR, EMR flat files, HL7, ADT feeds, pharmacy claims, labs, etc). Background in value‑based care, population health, or Medicare Advantage analytics. Experience integrating with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, etc). Familiarity with SOC 2, HIPAA, PHI, and HITRUST data governance.
