Who We Are Looking For

Our next Software Development Engineer will be responsible for developing medium complexity functionalities from start to finish, proposing technical solutions that keep the platforms competitive and aligned with the product strategy. They will ensure the quality of the solutions through development and testing practices and contribute to technical design when necessary.

What You Will Do

• Develop and improve functionalities following company standards and business requirements and compliance.
• Ensure the quality of the software through good practices, testing, and participation in code review processes (e.g., PR review).
• Design technical solutions by elaborating design documents, estimating efforts, and supporting in the definition of scopes.
• Collaborate with teams like Product, QA, and Support to implement changes and resolve incidents or tickets, identifying causes and proposing improvements.
• Participate in production steps, integration processes, automation, and use of CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain documentation, clean code, and participate in learning and continuous improvement activities within the team.

Minimum Requirements

• Solid experience working with relational databases, such as MySQL, and in backend development with languages like PHP, Ruby, or Python, along with their frameworks.
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies (React, Vue, TypeScript) and the ability to build accessible interfaces.
• Knowledge in software architecture and in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs or equivalent.
• Experience in development quality practices, including code review and building unit tests.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Interest in adopting new technologies and ability to thrive in regulated environments like HealthTech or InsurTech.
